It's been a good day. Terrible weather and I got soaked twice, but otherwise it has been uncomplicated and I've completed a lot of work. The latest project is completely in my head, with no development work or drawings and is happening "live" at the bench, inspired by the "Stag" punts mentioned in a previous post: the Portable Shrine To St Hubertus.





I also buckled and bought one of Eric Freitas' clocks...





Now I need to build the house to go with it!

Beadle's not about any more.
The loathsome idiot, Jeremy Beadle, who single-handedly made public sport of what would in any other situation be called "bullying", has died.
Good riddance of bad rubbish.

Slept REALLY badly last night. Exceptionally high winds were whipping up wheely-bins and blowing them down the street. It would have been quite funny if it hadn't been so noisy and potentially dangerous.

Current listening: Miss Kittin's new album, "Batbox". It is both brilliant and bleak. It's hard to imagine that after the last couple of albums she would make such a dark offering. The best track on it, in my opinion is "Wash N Dry", a track which sounds as if it had been scraped off the master tape and Miss Kitten had sung over the remains. Oddly reminiscent of Basinski's "Disintegration Loops"

It's belated, but HAPPY NEW YEAR.
